About This Course

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters. They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources, transfer their knowledge to others, and use creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and respond to complex problems.

Entry Requirements

General Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application. Must have completed Australian Year 12 or equivalent studies in the applicant’s home country. Must have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent) OR have two years of relevant full-time workplace experience in an operational or leadership role. IELTS band score of 6.0 or equivalent, in line with Department of Home Affairs requirements. Mature age students may also be considered without the minimum education requirements if they have relevant work experience and demonstrate capacity to meet course demands. Minimum English language requirements apply to all students.
