Students enrolled in the 22656VIC Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy are required to complete a minimum of 80 hours of practical experience in MTI's fully supervised Student Massage Clinic. Clients must include males and females from different stages of life.
Applicants must have successfully completed the Diploma of Remedial Massage (either HLT52015 or HLT52021), or hold the HLT50307 Diploma of Remedial Massage and have current membership at a practitioner-level (not affiliate membership) as a Remedial Massage Therapist with one of the following Australian professional associations: AMT, ANTA, MAA, MA, MMA, or ATMS.
Yes, international students are still eligible to study this course. The CRICOS course code is 116618B. International students are also required to have an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent.
The course runs for 78 weeks, structured as 6 x 10 week terms plus holidays. It is delivered via a combination of online and face-to-face learning.
