Advanced Diploma of Nursing

Entry to this qualification is restricted to applicants who can demonstrate that they are currently working in Australia as an enrolled nurse and hold current registration as an enrolled nurse without notation with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (www.nursingmidwiferyboard.gov.au).

For domestic students, the standard tuition fee is $6,500, or $2,010 for government subsidised training. An amenities fee of $350 also applies. For international students, the tuition fee is $15,500, with a student services fee of $250 and an amenities fee of $350.

All participants in the Advanced Diploma of Nursing HLT64121 are currently employed as ENs in Australia and EQUALS anticipates that employers will work together with EQUALS Work Integrated Learning staff and students to facilitate on-the-job learning opportunities. Where students do not have access to an appropriate workplace context for demonstration of Advanced Nursing skills (e.g. in mental health nursing), EQUALS will liaise with the student to arrange a part time professional practice placement host to facilitate learning and assessment.

This course may provide university credit of 12 or more months (with the Diploma of Nursing HLT54121 course). Please check with the higher learning institution regarding eligibility for credits.

Yes. If you have related prior education and experiences, you may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). If you have successfully completed units of competency from this qualification previously, you may also be eligible for National Recognition (Credit Transfer).
