Yes, this is a NAATI Endorsed Qualification. Upon successful completion of the course, a graduand/graduate may apply to sit a Certification Test (NAATI Certified Translator Test) directly with NAATI.
Yes. Upon completion of the Advanced Diploma of Translating at AIWT, the University of Western Australia (UWA) is offering credit exemptions of up to 1 semester into their Master of Translation Studies. You must already hold a Bachelor degree and you must also meet the University's English proficiency requirements.
For domestic fee-for-service students, the standard tuition fee is $6,500 with a resource fee of $175. For international students, tuition is $12,000, with a resource fee of $495 and an application fee of $250. AIWT will not accept prepaid fees exceeding $1,500 at any one time for domestic students, and does not collect more than 50% of the total tuition fee upfront from international students unless the student or their sponsor requests otherwise in writing.
Yes, students are required to pass an enrolment assessment conducted by AIWT trainers before they can be accepted into the course.
The Advanced Diploma of Translating at AIWT is currently available in Chinese (English to Chinese direction).
