Domestic students must have completed Year 12 or equivalent and hold a Diploma of Work Health and Safety as a pre-requisite. International students must be 18 years or older, have completed Australian Year 12 or equivalent, achieve IELTS 6.0 or equivalent, and also hold a Diploma of Work Health and Safety.
For domestic Fee For Service VET students, the tuition fee is $4,970 with a resource fee of $175 for Face-to-Face delivery, or $3,970 with a resource fee of $175 for Flexi-Learn delivery. Note that AIWT will not accept prepaid fees exceeding $1,500 at any one time, and additional resource fees may be required for safety equipment.
International students are charged a tuition fee of $10,500, a resource fee of $495, and an application fee of $250 for Face-to-Face delivery. The course duration for international students is 52 weeks. AIWT does not collect more than 50% of the total tuition fee unless the student or their sponsor requests otherwise in writing, and prepaid fees are protected through the Tuition Protection Service (TPS).
The course is available via Face-to-Face delivery (2 days per week class contact and online resources) or Flexi-Learn (a combination of self-paced learning and face-to-face trainer support available by appointment). Both options run for 12 months for domestic students.
