Associate Degree in Education (Primary) (Exit Only)

The Associate Degree in Education (Primary) is an exit point on completion of 160 credit point of study selected from the Bachelor of Education (Primary) subjects as indicated in the program structure below. Offered as an Advanced Diploma/Assoc Degree qualification of 160 credit points, it is normally completed in 2 years full-time and 4 years part-time. Students do not apply for this award directly: admission is to the parent program, and the qualification is conferred on those who leave that program early having completed the required credit points. It is administered within Western Sydney University's Education academic area. Subjects include Scientist, Artist, Teacher, Numeracy and Mathematics in the Early Years, Pedagogy and Praxis in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education, Professional Experience 1: Working in Classrooms and Scientific Discovery and Invention.
