There are two majors available: Cyber Security and Cloud Computing, which covers AI applications in cybersecurity, automation in threat detection and the use of AI-enhanced ethical hacking tools; and Generative AI in Gaming VFX, which uses AI to generate characters, build worlds, craft dialogues, and create sound and music for game development.

Yes, applicants without a formal qualification may be considered for entry if they have significant and relevant work experience. Students will also require evidence such as a STAT test.

International students must provide satisfactory completion of one of the following: an IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0, or Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with overall 65% and all skills 65%, or equivalent measures. The Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic) can also be completed at the Hawthorn campus.

Yes, credit transfer is granted in recognition of previous study and/or experience and allows students to gain advanced standing towards their course. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) also allows students to gain credit towards their course in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training. Applicants are assessed on a case-by-case basis for both options.
