The Associate Degree of Criminal Justice is available at Melbourne campus and Online. Note that the Online study mode is only available to Australian Domestic students and is not available to international students.
The course takes 2 years full time (6 Trimesters). Part time students can complete the course over 8 Trimesters.
For domestic students, the course consists of 16 units at $2,833 each, with an Annual Course Fee (Indicative) of $22,664 per 1.0 EFTSL, plus the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). FEE-HELP is available. For international students, the course consists of 16 units at $3,647 each, with an Annual Course Fee (Indicative) of $29,176 per 1.0 EFTSL, plus SSAF.
Online study offers maximum flexibility around busy lifestyles and is best suited to highly motivated students who are unable to attend on-campus classes on a regular basis. Online students need to devote the same number of hours per week, per unit as on-campus students, to reading course material, participating in group discussions and completing assessments. Students are provided continual guidance and support from their teachers throughout the trimesters.
Domestic students who are 21 years or above at the date of commencement are eligible to apply for the Associate Degree of Criminal Justice, even without a Senior Secondary Certificate of Education or prior tertiary study. All domestic students must also participate in a screening interview, typically by phone.
