Common Questions
Work Integrated Learning is an important component of the program. Students are required to complete a minimum of 110 hours of placements in football environments. The course includes multiple WIL units across both years, and ACPE's Industry Hub and unit co-ordinators support students by helping identify and secure placements, preparing WIL agreements, delivering information sessions, and providing ongoing support throughout the placement.
The course covers a wide range of football codes and sports, including soccer, rugby league, rugby union, AFL, rugby 7s, wheelchair rugby, futsal, and touch football. Students study how the football industry develops the game, the players, the coaches, the volunteers, and the leaders at both grassroots and elite levels.
The course is available in on-campus, online, and blended modes. Students studying online are required to make a mandatory 2-day visit to the campus for two units. The campus is located at Sydney Olympic Park, 10 Parkview Drive, Sydney Olympic Park, NSW.
Yes, this course is FEE-HELP approved for domestic students. Scholarships are also available. Upon successful completion of the Associate Degree, students can articulate into the Bachelor of Football (Development, Management and Performance) and may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning for their completed study.
The Associate Degree of Football (Development, Management and Performance) can be completed in two years of full-time study, or a part-time equivalent. The program spans four semesters, each of 12 weeks duration, with approximately 12 contact hours per week (excluding examination and study weeks). The course is taught by industry experts and incorporates real-life case studies of football professionals, clubs, and organisations.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
