Yes. Graduates who complete the Bachelor of Accounting meet the academic component of the requirements for membership to CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ). There are 18 units mapped to CPA Australia competencies, with only 16 required for CAANZ.
For international students, the tuition fee is AUD $2,500 per unit, with a total course fee of AUD $60,000 and a non-refundable deposit of AUD $500. For domestic students, the tuition fee is AUD $1,625 per unit, with a total course fee of AUD $39,000 and a one-time non-refundable application fee of AUD $500.
The Bachelor of Accounting is a 3-year course delivered over 6 semesters.
International students whose entry qualifications were obtained in an institution where English is not the language of instruction normally require an IELTS score of 6.0, with a score of not less than 5.5 in any of the four skill areas, or equivalent. It is expected that students can demonstrate that the English language test was successfully completed within two years of the date of application for admission.
Students develop and apply theoretical knowledge and understanding to a variety of authentic learning tasks and assessments including case studies, reports, interviews, portfolios, oral presentations, and practical exercises individually and in small teams. Assessments will include projects reflecting real world industry based problems.
