Through the Bachelor of Commerce, you have the opportunity to complete a major in one of the following areas: Cyber Security Law and Governance, Enterprise AI and Business Analytics, International Business, Marketing Technology, or Quantitative Economics and Finance.
Yes, this program is accredited by Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) Australia and the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ). The program satisfies the academic requirements for direct entry into the CPA Australia program and for entry into the CA program. Graduates are eligible to enrol in the CPA Australia program and the CA program respectively.
In Year 1, you will gain a thorough understanding of the foundation of accounting and commerce, covering areas such as AI, marketing, economics, leadership, international business, digital business, accounting and business law. In Year 2, you'll deepen your knowledge in accounting, law, finance, commerce and economics. In Year 3, you'll complete two accounting subjects, two commerce subjects, and four subjects in your chosen commerce major. In Year 4, you'll study auditing and strategic accounting and leadership, with options to study accounting and commerce electives including internship programs, and complete your commerce major.
