The double degree takes 3 years 8 months (11 semesters) to complete when studying full-time with a load of 40 credit points per semester. It is made up of 44 subjects (440 credit points) in total.
The program holds accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the Actuarial Institute, the Board of Legal Education Tasmania, the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD EQUIS), and the Legal Practitioners Admissions Board (QLD). Bond Business School is one of only 7 Australian universities to hold dual AACSB/EQUIS accreditation.
From Year 3, students can select Law electives or a Law specialisation. Available specialisations include International and Comparative Law, Legal Transformation, Climate Law, Corporate and Commercial Law and more. Elective options also include an International Study Tour or a Business Internship.
Students will have unparalleled access to state-of-the-art learning resources including the Legal Skills Centre, Bond FinTech Hub, Commercialisation Centre, Centre for Data Analytics, and Transformer. The Bond FinTech Hub houses 40 Bloomberg terminals feeding live market data, and students can complete globally recognised Bloomberg certification as part of their program. Bond is one of only three universities in Australia accepted as an official member of the Bloomberg Experiential Learning Partner (ELP) Program.
Yes, successful completion of the Bachelor of Actuarial Science component of the program can lead to Part I qualification with the Actuaries Institute.
