The program is a four-year double degree consisting of 32 courses (192 Units of Credit). You will graduate with two degrees in four years.
The Bachelor of Actuarial Studies provides a strong foundation for becoming an actuary, with exemptions available from the Actuaries Institute's Foundation Program in Australia or VEE credit from the Society of Actuaries (USA). The Bachelor of Information Systems is accredited by the Australian Computer Society (ACS) at the Professional Level, preparing you for professional practice in information and communications technology (ICT).
Students can choose optional majors in Actuarial Studies (Computational Data Science, Actuarial Risk Management & Analytics, Quantitative Data Science) or Commerce (Accounting, Behavioural Economics, Business Analytics, Business Economics, Finance). For Information Systems, elective streams include IS in Data Analytics, IS in Cybersecurity Management, and IS in Organisations. Students may also choose to study a second commerce major, though this may result in more UOC required for degree completion.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
