In Actuarial Studies, you can choose from three majors: Computational Data Science, Actuarial Risk Management & Analytics, and Quantitative Data Science. In Computer Science, you can choose from seven majors: Artificial Intelligence, Computer Networks, Computer Science, Database Systems, Embedded Systems, Programming Languages, and Security Engineering.
Yes. The Bachelor of Computer Science component is accredited with the Australian Computer Society at the level of Professional. The degree also holds Institute of Actuaries Australia accreditation, with pathways to US and UK Actuarial accreditation.
The degree consists of 32 courses (192 Units of Credit) completed over four years. In the first year, you study 4 Level 1 Actuarial Studies core courses and 4 Computer Science core courses. Second year includes 2 Level 1 and 2 Level 2 Actuarial Studies core courses plus 4 Computer Science core courses. Third year covers 1 Level 2 and 3 Level 3 Actuarial Studies core courses plus 4 Computer Science core courses. Fourth year includes 1 Level 3 Actuarial Studies core course, 4 Computer Science elective courses, and 2 Business elective courses.
For domestic students in a Commonwealth Supported Place, the 2026 indicative first year full fee is $11,500 and the indicative full fee to complete the degree is $49,000. For international students, the 2026 indicative first year fee is $59,500 and the indicative fee to complete the degree is $257,500. These fees are for tuition only and are subject to annual review.
