To be eligible via academic entry Option 1, you need either Software Design and Development (Band 6) or Information Processes and Technology (Band 6), plus a mathematics subject (Mathematics Advanced at Band 5, or Mathematics Extension 1 at E3, or Mathematics Extension 2 at E3), and one additional subject at Band 4 or an Extension subject at E2.
No. If your Software Design and Development result was below Band 4, you are not eligible to apply for academic entry via Option 1 to the Bachelor of Advanced Information Technology.
Yes, a mathematics subject is required. You must have achieved at least Band 5 in Mathematics Advanced, or E3 in HSC Mathematics Extension 1, or E3 in HSC Mathematics Extension 2 as part of the academic entry requirements.
For the additional subject requirement, you need a minimum of Band 4 in any subject not already listed among the required IT or mathematics subjects, or a minimum of E2 in any Extension subject not already listed.
