This course is unique in Western Australia in its multidisciplinary, project-based learning and scientific professional practice involving entrepreneurship, communication and leadership skills. It provides access to world-class research groups, work-integrated learning from second year, industry engagement, student-led projects, and accelerated learning pathways, culminating in a self-directed honours project in the final year.
You must meet Curtin's English language requirements. For IELTS Academic, you need an overall band score of 7, with a minimum of 7 in each of Writing, Speaking, Reading, and Listening. If you've completed a different English test or qualification, you may be able to use it to meet this requirement.
From second year, you'll build your expertise through year-long projects embedded in Curtin research groups or with external organisations. You'll also benefit from multidisciplinary collaborations with academic peers from across the Advanced Science majors.
In your final year, you'll conduct a self-directed honours project that contributes new knowledge to your field, drawing on the expertise and research skills developed throughout the course.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
