Yes, some students choose to study online across three study periods with 24/7 tutor support and fit study around work and family commitments. However, please note that some units include mandatory intensive schools on campus, so online students will need to attend campus for those requirements.
Students have access to UNE's SMART Farms — eight properties covering 3,655 hectares, including farms within minutes of campus and a commercial scale feedlot, supporting disciplines including grazing and intensive livestock, cropping, pastures, poultry, genetics, and precision agriculture. The course also includes world class facilities such as state-of-the-art glasshouses and animal housing and handling facilities.
Yes, it is a condition that all students enrolled in this course must be vaccinated against Q Fever (unless initial skin test indicates pre-existing immunity). This must be completed as soon as possible and by no later than the end of the first trimester of study. Q Fever screening and vaccination can be arranged through the University Medical Centre, or through your own GP. The cost of the vaccination program is separate to tuition fees.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
