Students in the Bachelor of Animation will explore advanced techniques in industry-standard software including Autodesk Maya, Substance Painter, Unreal Engine 5, SideFX Houdini, Foundry NukeX, Pixologic ZBrush and Adobe Creative Suite.
The Bachelor of Animation can be completed in as little as 2 years (6 trimesters) via the Fast Track full-time option, 2.5 years (8 trimesters) full-time, or 3 years (9 trimesters) full-time. A part-time option is also available for domestic students.
For domestic students, the course consists of 18 units at $2,999 each and 3 units at $5,998 each, with an indicative annual course fee of $23,992 AUD (based on 1.0 EFTSL), plus the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). FEE-HELP is available.
The Bachelor of Animation is available at SAE campuses in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney.
International students must meet one of the following English language requirements: an Academic IELTS minimum overall band of 6.0 with no individual band below 5.5 completed in the last two years (or equivalent); completion of Year 12 English in an Australian secondary school or college or equivalent with a minimum result of 'Satisfactory' or equivalent; or successful completion of an Academic English program with an SAE-approved Australian-based English partner.
