About This Course

This double degree will augment your knowledge in geology, which is critical to the global economy, with knowledge of the resources industry and finance. The finance component explores the financial services industry. You'll study areas in corporate finance and develop key understandings in investment, evaluation and the financial markets and their instruments. This will give you the ideal skill set for analysing the economic viability of resource exploration projects.

Curtin course switcher: Must have met admission criteria for minimum entry and completed Mathematics Applications ATAR (or equivalent); prerequisite can be met via MATH1013 Introductory Mathematics, MATH1014 Foundations of Calculus, or MATH1015 Linear Algebra
Higher education course switcher: Must meet minimum entry criteria and have completed Mathematics Applications ATAR (or equivalent)
