Duration and availability The course is four years' full-time or equivalent part-time study. July Intake is suitable for those students wishing to study this course part-time, or have sufficient credit for recognised learning. Notes for completion Students must undertake 80 days of work experience in the construction industry to meet the completion requirement of this course. The work experience must be in approved professional roles which are relevant to the course (e.g. quantity surveying, construction management, project management, building surveying, property development, contract administration, construction law, procurement/supply chain management etc.). This must be undertaken in an organization having a valid registration, conducting their business as a construction entity or consultancy firm, or a public or private organization in which construction or project procurement is their primary business. Other notes about this course Semester 2 intake requires special approval. July intake only available to students with sufficient credit for recognised learning. Applications to the Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management) outside of the standard intake, Semester 1, are available to students who have completed units in the preceding semester(s). These non-standard intakes allow students to enter the course after the first semester of the degree. To apply to Semester 2 please submit an application for Credit for Recognised Learning (CRL) with your application so it may be determined if you have completed the units required to enter this degree outside of the standard intake.
