About This Course

The Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) is an undergraduate coursework degree that will prepare you for professional practice as a physiotherapist. Over four years you will learn how to assess, diagnose and treat people with movement problems caused by a wide variety of joint, muscle and nerve disorders. You will also learn how to help people avoid injuries and maintain a fit and healthy body. You will complete core and elective units in physiotherapy along with units in exercise and sport science, behavioural and community health sciences and biomedical sciences. You will also complete five practical placements making up 1,040 hours. At least one of these placements will be in a rural or regional (non-metropolitan) area.

General Requirements

Please refer to the UAC website for domestic and UAC applications.
International applications open 15 March of the preceding year.
International applications close 15 January of the commencing year.
This course has limited places available. Not all applicants who meet the application deadline and requirements may be successful.
Separate deadlines apply for scholarships.
Domestic students may be eligible for the NSW Health Tertiary Health Study Subsidy Program.
