Yes. The learning experiences and assessment activities within this course require students to have access to technologies beyond a desktop computer or laptop. Students will be required to purchase minor equipment such as small single board computers, microcontrollers and sensors. The indicative cost of this equipment for this course is AUD$500. Equipment requirements and details of suppliers will be provided on a per-unit basis.
The Bachelor of Artificial Intelligence is available in three intakes: Trimester 1 (March) at Burwood (Melbourne) and Online; Trimester 2 (July) at Burwood (Melbourne) and Online; and Trimester 3 (November) at Burwood (Melbourne) only. Deakin splits the academic year into three terms known as trimesters, and most students usually undertake two trimesters each year (March–June, July–November).

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
