Attendance information The Bachelor of Arts may be undertaken full-time or part-time at either the Brisbane South (Nathan) or Gold Coast campus. A full-time student will generally attend 12 hours of scheduled classes per week throughout the trimester. Classes are generally scheduled during the day but some are offered during the evening between Monday and Friday. If you are an International student on a student visa, you must ensure that you enrol in a way that will allow you to complete your enrolment within the expected program duration as stated on your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). The recommended study load for international student in each compulsory trimester is 40CP. Managing Study Interruptions Leave of Absence Taking a leave of absence from this program is permitted, subject to conditions outlined in the Enrolment Procedure . Pathways to further study Students who graduate with an appropriate Grade Point Average (GPA) may undertake an additional year of study in the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) (2007) program, which may qualify you for further postgraduate studies. You may also be eligible to apply for entry to a graduate teacher preparation degree, which may lead to further career opportunities in education and teaching.
