Yes, all applicants are required to attend an audition. Entry into this course is talent-based, and prospective students will be comprehensively assessed through an audition that includes a thorough assessment of inherent and trainable ability, the ability to meet the technical requirements of the course and suitability for the industry.
For domestic students, the estimated first year indicative fee is AUD $9,550 (Commonwealth supported). For international students, the estimated first year indicative fee is AUD $40,650.
Yes, this course has a modified timetable. Performances and rehearsals may include evenings and/or weekends.
International students must achieve an IELTS Academic Overall band minimum score of 6.0 with no individual band less than 6.0, or satisfy the requirement through one of the other accepted English competency pathways listed for Band 3.
Graduates will be able to demonstrate broad and coherent knowledge of acting theory and methods, analyse the relationship between movement and acting, exercise critical thinking in collaborative performance projects, adapt vocal use for various environments, demonstrate cross-cultural awareness, collaborate in creative works for public display, and apply innovation and sustainability principles relevant to the creative industries.
