Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Criminology

The Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Criminology (course code A2012) helps students tackle crime and inequality while developing a global societal perspective through this double degree, gaining invaluable knowledge from combining an understanding of humanities and intercultural competencies with the depths of criminology and the justice system. Both degrees teach students to look at problems locally and globally and apply learned knowledge to develop solutions, equipping them to identify credible evidence, measure and analyse the impact of policy, and develop informed, independent thinking skills. Students can combine criminology with naturally-pairing areas of study such as psychology, sociology, behavioural studies, gender studies, anthropology, languages, journalism and philosophy. Both degrees offer Industry Experience internships in Australia or overseas, providing hands-on professional experience and industry connections that count towards the degree.
