Common Questions
You can choose from 3 business majors and 11 arts majors. Business majors include Human Resources Management, Management, and Marketing for the Digital Age. Arts majors include Anthropology, Archaeology, Criminology, English, History, Human Geography, Human Services, Indigenous Studies, Politics and International Relations, Psychology Studies, and Sociology. Note that not all majors are available at every campus, and when studying a joint degree such as the Bachelor of Arts — Bachelor of Business, it is recommended to choose one major from each degree to ensure a manageable workload.
Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is a component of the Bachelor of Business degree that allows you to put your knowledge and skills to the test in real-world scenarios. In your second and third years of study, you will undertake short-term WIL experiences, which can include internships with an industry partner. Each of these experiences prepares you for your final-year placement within a local business, where your career development will have you ready to take on whatever your post-graduation career may hold.
The indicative annual cost is $13,690+ as an estimated annual Commonwealth Supported Fee for a full-time study load. Please note this estimate is variable and subject to fluctuation depending on choice of elective subjects. The Student Services and Amenities Fee is also required. Fee deferral options such as HECS-HELP or FEE-HELP are available if eligible, and scholarships may also be available.
This course is available at JCU's Townsville campus, Cairns campus, and online. Intake dates for all locations — Online, Townsville, and Cairns — are in January, May, and September each year.
The course takes 4 years to complete as a full-time student, or up to 8 years if studying part-time.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
