Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Innovation

Students can choose from the following Bachelor of Arts majors available in this double degree: Anthropology and Sociology, Chinese, Creative Writing, English and Cultural Studies, Digital and Social Media, Fine Art, Geography, History, Indigenous Australian Culture, International Relations, Japanese, Professional Writing and Publishing, Screen Arts, and Theatre Arts.

In the Innovation degree, you'll focus on entrepreneurial thinking, product development and strategy. You'll learn how to transform your ideas into real-world solutions – whether by launching your own start-up or by driving innovation within existing industries. The course involves a set of transformational experiences, including the development of a sustainable business innovation project, an interactive study tour or an international experience.

This course requires a minimum ATAR/Selection Rank of 70 to be considered for entry, but meeting the minimum does not guarantee selection. Equity ATAR adjustment factors may also raise your Selection Rank above your ATAR and are applied automatically through TISC.

You must meet Curtin's English language requirements for this course. The IELTS Academic requirement is an overall band score of 6.5, with minimum scores of 6.0 in each of Writing, Speaking, Reading, and Listening. If you've completed a different English test or qualification, you may be able to use it to meet this requirement.

You may be able to receive credit for recognised learning (CRL) from past study or professional experience, which could reduce the time it takes to finish your course. Specific details about CRL for this course can be found on the Handbook.
