The minimum score for guaranteed entry is a Selection Rank of 72. Your Selection Rank is your ATAR or IB Combined Rank plus any adjustments you are eligible to receive. Adjustments can be based on factors such as the subjects you are studying, the location of your school, or your eligibility for equity and access schemes.
The Bachelor of Arts – Bachelor of International Studies takes 5 years of full-time study, or the part-time equivalent. A double degree at UOW provides a world-class qualification in less time and at less cost than studying the two degrees separately.
You must select at least one major from the Bachelor of Arts and at least one major from the Bachelor of International Studies. The course handbook contains more information about available majors.
For Autumn Session 2026, domestic UAC Early Bird applications are due 30 September 2025, international applications by 9 December 2025, direct domestic applications by 31 December 2025, and UAC final round by 29 January 2026. For Spring Session 2026, international applications are due 5 May 2026, direct domestic by 31 May 2026, and UAC final round by 2 July 2026.
Yes, Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) are available for this course. For eligible domestic students, Australian government funding will contribute towards your tuition fees. The remaining proportion, known as a student contribution, will depend on when you begin study (enrolment year) and study area.
