Yes. The Bachelor of Laws is accredited by the Legal Profession Admission Board. By completing your law degree at UOW, you are completing an academic qualification that is recognised for admission as a lawyer in Australia, subject to completing state-approved Practical Legal Training (PLT). Further details for NSW admissions can be found at the Legal Profession Admission Board website.

Yes. Law students are required to complete a Legal Internship subject (LLB3397). This subject involves a practical placement completed over 4 weeks, totalling 140 hours at 35 hours per week. It is designed to expose students to the application of the law in practice and enable them to develop skills in legal research, communication, drafting, practice management, and problem solving, as well as observe the values, ethical standards, and conduct of the legal profession.
The double degree takes 5 years to complete full-time, or the part-time equivalent. UOW notes that a double degree provides a world-class qualification in less time and at less cost than studying the two degrees separately.
You must select at least one major from the Bachelor of Arts component of the double degree. The course handbook contains more information about available majors and subject selections.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
