Yes. The honours research can take the form of either a written dissertation or a creative production thesis. A creative practice thesis consists of two components: a body of creative production (such as a screenplay, series of artworks, theatre production, short film etc.) and a written exegesis of 5,000 words. A thesis by written dissertation is a single study of 15,000 words that provides in-depth investigation of a key issue or question.
Your two-page research proposal should include a clearly defined, relevant and achievable research project; strong academic writing skills; and demonstrate your capacity to undertake Honours level study in the proposed topic. The suggested format includes a title (10–20 words), a draft research question, and can name a preferred supervisor. The proposal will be used to assess whether the faculty is able to provide appropriate supervision.
Applicants need a completed Australian bachelor degree or equivalent in the Arts field (one of the Humanities honours majors) with a Course Weighted Average (CWA) of 65% or higher. Admission is by invitation and follows high achievement in an appropriate bachelor degree.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
