Common Questions
Yes. The Bachelor of Laws degree is an accredited degree for admission to legal practice. It covers underlying legal and ethical principles and explains how they are applied in legal practice.
The double degree takes 5.25 years full-time, or the equivalent on a part-time basis. It is available at both the Fremantle and Sydney campuses, with commencement in Semester 1 or Semester 2.
For WA applicants with recent secondary education, an indicative ATAR/Selection Rank of 80 (including Adjustment Factors) or an International Baccalaureate (IB) score of 29 is required.
The Notre Dame Law degree has a particular focus on developing practical skills such as public speaking, advocacy, alternative dispute resolution and commercial practice skills. Through mentoring and internship programs, students have many opportunities to experience the law in practice.
Graduates can follow diverse career paths in the private and public sectors. Many lawyers pursue political careers, and studying law also equips graduates to become policy advisers in state or Federal Government, as well as pursuing careers in journalism and related fields.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
