Yes. The Bachelor of Laws is accredited by the Legal Profession Admission Board. By completing your law degree at UOW, you are completing an academic qualification that is recognised for admission as a lawyer in Australia, subject to completing state-approved Practical Legal Training (PLT). Completion of four years in Psychology is an important first step for registration as a psychologist in Australia. The Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) is accredited as the first three years of study. To complete the four years, students must complete an Honours year to meet the academic requirements for eligibility for provisional registration as a psychologist. An additional two years of education and training is necessary to apply for general registration, either through a fifth year at University plus one year of supervised practice in the community, or an approved postgraduate degree accredited at the fifth and sixth year level.

Yes. Law students will complete a Legal Internship subject (LLB3397), which is a practical placement completed over 4 weeks, totaling 140 hours at 35 hours per week. It is designed to expose students to the application of the law in practice and enable them to develop skills in legal research, communication, drafting, practice management, and problem solving.

The minimum score for guaranteed entry (or for consideration if this course has limited places) is a Selection Rank of 90. Your Selection Rank is your ATAR or IB Combined Rank plus any adjustments you are eligible to receive. The equivalent IBAS is 35.25.

The double degree takes 5 years full-time, or a part-time equivalent. A double degree at UOW provides a world-class qualification in less time and at less cost than studying the two degrees separately. Intakes are available in Autumn 2026 and Spring 2026.
