Common Questions
The course is available in three study modes: Online Delivery (for domestic students only) with 2 hours of live online classes plus 1 hour of national content each week; On-Campus with 2 hours of weekly on-campus classes plus 1 hour of national content, running Monday to Friday; and Blended Delivery, combining 2 hours of live (on-campus or online) classes with 1 hour of national content each week.
There are three duration options: 6 Trimesters Full Time (Fast Track) where you complete the course in 2 years, 8 Trimesters Full Time over 2.5 years, or 9 Trimesters Full Time over 3 years. All options are classified as full-time study.
Domestic fees are structured as 20 units at $2,999 AUD each and 2 units at $5,998 AUD each, with an Annual Course Fee (Indicative) of $23,992 AUD based on 1.0 EFTSL, plus the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). FEE-HELP is available for eligible domestic students.
The course is available Online and at the Brisbane campus. Online students can start in September 2026, February 2027, or May 2027. Brisbane campus students can start in February 2027 or May 2027.
Domestic students must meet one of the following: completion of an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate (QCE, WACE, HSC or SACE) or equivalent; completion of a higher education diploma-level qualification or higher under the AQF; completion of a VET Certificate IV-level qualification or higher under the AQF; or applicants who do not meet these criteria may apply through SAE's Experience Based Entry scheme.
