Students can choose from two majors: Aviation Operations, which is designed in consultation with senior industry professionals and prepares graduates for frontline and strategic roles in aviation and allied industries, and Uncrewed Aircraft Systems, where students can gain a remote pilot licence and build skills in UAV design, navigation, aerodynamics and data analysis.
The Guaranteed Entry ATAR for the Bachelor of Aviation Management/Bachelor of Applied Innovation is 70. You'll be guaranteed a place if you meet or exceed this score and meet the course prerequisites. If your ATAR is below 70, you can still be offered a place as your ATAR may be adjusted based on subject adjustments, equity schemes or other factors.
Yes. A study score of 25 in any Business, any Mathematics or any Science equals 2 aggregate points per study, and a study score of 30 in any Business, any Mathematics or any Science equals 3 aggregate points per study, with an overall maximum of 15 points. These subject adjustment points are applied to the aggregate, not the ATAR.
International students must satisfy one of the following: an IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0, or Swinburne English Language Centre EAP 5 (Advanced) level with overall 65% and all skills 65% or above, or equivalent measures as outlined on the English language requirements page.
Yes. Credit transfer is granted in recognition of previous study and/or experience and allows students to gain advanced standing towards their course, with applicants assessed on a case-by-case basis. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) also allows students to gain credit towards their course in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training, also assessed on a case-by-case basis.
