To attain the Bachelor of Biomedical and Exercise Science, students are required to complete 288 credit points, consisting of 96 credit points of First Year Core studies and 192 credit points of remaining Core studies.
Victoria University is equipped with new medical research facilities at Sunshine Hospital and exercise and sport science facilities at the Footscray Park campus. The course is also closely linked with the University's Institute for Health and Sport (IHES) and a Collaborative Research Network in partnership with the University of Melbourne and the Australian Institute of Musculoskeletal Science (AIMSS).
This course is offered as a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) for eligible students. The indicative fee for a full-time student in 2026 is AU$9,537 per year. This is a guide only and does not include materials such as textbooks or the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF).
Graduates of the Bachelor of Biomedical and Exercise Science may undertake further study in the fields of clinical exercise science, sports science, biomedical science, dietetics, education or other doctoral studies. The course is designed to provide a framework for the acquisition of further specialist knowledge, enabling graduates to pursue post-graduate studies in allied health courses.
The Bachelor of Biomedical and Exercise Science is offered on campus at both the Footscray Park Campus and the St Albans Campus in Melbourne. The next intake commences on 27 July 2026, with applications closing on 19 July 2026.
