Common Questions
With Bond's three-semester-per-year accelerated timetable, you can complete the Bachelor of Biomedical Science in just two years (6 semesters), with the opportunity to then progress into postgraduate health sciences programs.
You can choose to major in either Laboratory/Research or Pre-Health Professional. The laboratory/research major includes training in advanced bioscience lab and molecular diagnostic techniques and provides the opportunity to undertake a two-semester individual research project. The pre-health/professional major includes the subject Health Communication and provides a choice of two discipline elective subjects from the fields of nutrition, exercise and sports science, psychology, and health innovation.
Yes. High achieving graduates of the Bachelor of Biomedical Science program may be eligible to enter Year 2 of Bond's Medical Program (in January) via the lateral entry pathway. This is also the only pathway into the Medical Program for international students.
The program develops your knowledge and laboratory skills across a range of disciplines, including anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology, pharmacology, chemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, and microbiology. In Year 1, you will complete seven foundation subjects including cell biology, anatomy, and physiology, plus three core University subjects in critical thinking, communication, and leadership. In Year 2, you will complete six advanced discipline subjects and eight subjects from your chosen major.
You will learn in a dynamic and interactive environment using virtual reality and augmented reality technologies. You will have access to health science laboratories with some of the latest research equipment from the very first semester. Due to Bond University's small class sizes, you will enjoy extensive use of this equipment to develop and refine your practical skills, supported by dedicated laboratory staff.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
