Bachelor of Business

You can choose from seven business majors: Business Intelligence and Information Systems, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Human Resources Management, International Business, Accounting/Financial Advising or Management, Banking and Finance, Marketing, Management, Governance, Business and Society. The course is 3 years full-time or 6 years part-time. It is available online and on-campus at Townsville, Cairns, and Brisbane, with intakes commencing in January, May, and September.

Our lecturers' strong network connections and the Work Integrated Learning program ensures you receive relevant industry placements. You will start preparing for Work Integrated Learning in your first year of study. In your final-year capstone subject, students have the flexibility to complete an internship within a local business or multidisciplinary project for an industry partner. Students who work full-time have the option to complete an independent project for their employer. Additionally, students in Townsville will have the opportunity to be a part of the Townsville Chamber of Commerce — James Cook University Mentoring Program.

The indicative annual cost is $15,910+ (estimated annual Commonwealth Supported Fee for a full-time study load). Please note this estimate is variable and subject to fluctuation depending on choice of elective subjects. Plus Student Services and Amenities fee.
