Bachelor of Business

The Bachelor of Business builds a strong understanding of core business and operational strategies across a range of industries, developing the practical skills to create strategic plans for real-world business settings. Students have the flexibility to explore their interests through a wide range of electives and gain hands-on experience through work-integrated learning. Elective options let students focus on areas such as finance, sales, operations, business development, customer experience, brand management or HR, and the course includes three Industry Consulting Projects, where students work on real business challenges to build practical skills alongside their studies. With support to secure industry placements, graduates leave with valuable experience, professional connections and a competitive edge. Learning outcomes include developing managerial skills suited to a range of organisations, building skills in domestic and international business development, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion, and developing and planning new business ideas using entrepreneurial theory. The course includes 300 hours of industry experience.

Torrens University is a member of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). This AQF Level 7 course is delivered online, on campus or in blended mode across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and online, over three years full-time, six years part-time, or two years accelerated.
