To complete the Bachelor of Business, you must pass 24 credit points, which includes: DAI001 Academic Integrity and Respect at Deakin (0-credit-point compulsory unit) in your first study period, 10 credit points of core units, 1 major (8 credit points), 6 credit points of open elective units, a maximum of 10 credit points at level 1, and a minimum of 6 credit points at level 3 (4 must be Business and Law undergraduate units).
Yes, this course provides students the opportunity to complete one or more work integrated learning (WIL) units. Students can also engage with real industry projects for course credit, and benefit from experiential learning opportunities such as mentoring, volunteering, consulting, internships, local and international business competitions, and student clubs and societies.
The Bachelor of Business is offered across three trimesters: Trimester 1 (March) is available at Burwood (Melbourne), Waterfront (Geelong), and Online; Trimester 2 (July) is available at Burwood (Melbourne), Waterfront (Geelong), and Online; and Trimester 3 (November) is available at Burwood (Melbourne) and Online only.
Yes, all students in the Bachelor of Business have the option to complete a minor sequence chosen from the following: Business Analytics, Economics, International Trade, and Marketing. These can be included as part of your six credit points of open elective units.
