The Bachelor of Business at ASA Institute of Higher Education is a 3-year full-time course delivered face to face on campus in Sydney, with intakes available in January, April, July, and October.
To gain entry, students must meet at least one of the following criteria: successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent; satisfactory completion of an approved Tertiary Preparation Program, Tertiary Orientation Program, or Foundation Year Program through an accredited institution; or satisfactory completion of one year of accredited full-time study in a related discipline at a registered Australian provider of tertiary education at Certificate IV or higher level. International students must also meet minimum English language proficiency standards, including IELTS Academic 6.0 with a minimum sub score of 5.5 in all bands or equivalent.
The Bachelor of Business comprises twenty-three (23) units of core and elective units across 100, 200 and 300 levels. The course commences with eight (8) core units at the 100 level, followed by six (6) core units and two (2) electives at the 200 level, and concludes with four (4) core units, two (2) elective units, and one (1) capstone unit at the 300 level.
Yes, the Bachelor of Business includes nested qualifications. Students may exit with a Diploma of Business or an Associate Degree of Business upon completion of the relevant levels of study.
Yes, any student with prior learning may submit appropriate evidence and apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). ASA may award credit towards achievement of a qualification for various forms of prior learning by comparing a student's current level of skills and knowledge against unit learning outcomes. ASA may, at its discretion, recognise the validity of other forms of training or education, providing they are deemed equivalent to, or meet, the AQF standards.
