Accounting Information & Systems
Introduces students to the preparation of accounting information using manual and automated accounting information systems, covering the full financial statement process and the impact of information technology on accounting through an overview of an accounting information system (AIS).
Business Analytics/Statistics
Introduces the basic practice of statistics for making decisions in the presence of variability, with emphasis on understanding data through statistical concepts and application using modern software packages.
Business Economics
Introduces the student to the principles of financial management from a corporate perspective, examining the theory and practice of investment and financing decision-making using analytical techniques for contemporary financial decision-making.
Business Law 1
Provides an introduction to core principles of contract and consumer protection law, the law of negligence and property law, and ethical standards that apply to business activities.

Entry typically requires a completed Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and a completed Diploma of Accounting or above. Alternative entry via a completed Diploma or above in a relevant discipline (such as Diploma of Business, Diploma of Information Technology, or Diploma of Sport Management) may also be accepted, but will require students to attend a three-week accounting basics support class at no cost. Applicants with a complete or incomplete higher education qualification in Accounting (minimum 1 year full-time passed) are also eligible.
