Bachelor of Business Administration

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is an undergraduate degree of Australian Catholic University, set out in the ACU Handbook for 2025. ACU publishes no separate course overview for the award, so the handbook's completion requirements are the fullest account of what students study. The degree carries 240 credit points and has a minimum duration of three years full-time or the equivalent part-time. The approved locations recorded in the handbook are Blacktown, Brisbane, Melbourne, North Sydney and Strathfield, with away-from-base mode available at Strathfield; the handbook adds that the course is not offered at Blacktown and Strathfield from Semester 2, 2025. To qualify, a student completes 130 credit points of specified units, 40 credit points from any other units offered at second or third year level in a bachelor degree of the Peter Faber Business School, 40 credit points of elective units from any other ACU bachelor degree, 20 credit points from the University Core Curriculum, and the 10 credit point unit Community Engagement: Building Strengths and Capabilities. The specified units listed in the handbook include Money Matters, Managing Markets, Managing People and Organisations, Principles of Finance, Economics: Policy Frameworks and Markets, Organisational Behaviour, Information Technology in Action, Data and Information Management, Fundamentals of Information Technology, Marketing Toolkit, Managing Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Strategic Management. In all aspects of progress through the course, students are advised by the Course Coordinator and bound by decisions of the Faculty Learning and Teaching Committee.
