The Bachelor of Business (Professional) includes a mandatory 12-month paid work placement as part of its Work Integrated Learning requirement. You'll benefit from Swinburne's unique industry partnerships, gain invaluable full-time work experience, and earn credit towards your degree. The placement is undertaken in Years 2–3 and is composed of Work Experience in Industry units (WEI20001 and WEI20002) alongside Integrated Professional Placement academic units.
In the Business Analytics and Analysis major, you will develop skills in business process analytics and optimisation, communication and data visualisation, data acumen, data-driven problem solving and critical thinking, digital literacy, and technology acumen. The major teaches you how to speak both business and tech languages and how to identify operational and environmental challenges and apply creative solutions that can transform business through technology.
For domestic students in a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP), the yearly tuition fee is approximately $17,399 AUD, with a total estimated course fee of $43,430 AUD. For international students, the total estimated fee is $65,246 AUD. A Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) of $373 AUD applies. Domestic students may be eligible for HECS-HELP loans. International students are automatically considered for a scholarship of up to 20% off course fees when they apply — no separate application is required.

You can tailor your path by selecting one of these majors to suit your career goals.
The course is offered through a business school that is AACSB accredited and a PRME signatory, placing it in the top 5% of the world's higher education business schools. Students majoring in Accounting may also be eligible to apply for membership with CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, or the Institute of Public Accountants upon graduation (subject to completing required units).
