The Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Laws (Honours) program is designed for high achieving law students who wish to undertake an extended level of study and research in Law, beyond the standard Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Laws program. It satisfies the academic degree requirements for admission to practice as an Australian lawyer.
The Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Laws (Honours) is available at two campuses: Parramatta South and Campbelltown.
Students can choose from four business majors: Accounting (accredited with CPA Australia, CAANZ, and IPA), Applied Finance (fulfils educational requirements for FINSIA Associate membership), Economics, and Property (accredited by the Australian Property Institute).
Students will develop skills in legal advocacy, negotiation, legal drafting, legal research, and legal technology. The program also includes work integrated learning, clinical placement, and international exchange engagements. Students gain practical skills in moot court at the Campbelltown and Parramatta campuses.
The program takes 5 years to complete full time and is also available part time. The indicative annual domestic student fee is from $11,885. The program code is 2840 and the CRICOS code is 108430C.
