About This Course

The Bachelor of Business is a three-year degree combining contemporary business theory with practical, hands-on experience, including two 13-week work-integrated-learning placements. It builds foundational knowledge in Year 1 (accounting, management, marketing, business information systems and design thinking), deepens expertise in Year 2 (business law, business finance and a first placement), and culminates in Year 3 with strategic management, decision-making and leadership, plus a second placement.

Students choose from a range of majors, minors and electives — from one minor and up to nine electives, to two majors and no electives — to tailor the degree toward hospitality, marketing, finance or other business specialisations, with the selected major(s) shown on the testamur.

On completion you're awarded the CRICOS-registered Bachelor of Business, a globally recognised, AQF-accredited qualification preparing graduates for management and entrepreneurial roles across business and hospitality.

General Requirements

Minimum age: 18 years or older when the program commences.
Academic: Successful completion of Australian Year 12 with an ATAR of 60, or equivalent interstate/overseas secondary education. No ATAR is required for mature-age applicants (21+) with at least 3 years' relevant supervisory/management work experience.
English proficiency (international applicants): 6.0 Academic IELTS, with no band score below 5.5.
Credit: Academic Credit / RPL is assessed on application for applicants with prior higher education or VET study.
