Common Questions
The Bachelor of Business (Entrepreneurship and Innovation) offers 26 subjects in total: 12 core business subjects, 7 specialisation subjects, 5 elective subjects, and 2 WIL (Work Integrated Learning) subjects.
Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is built into the degree and requires students to complete a Professional Placement Preparation Program, then two trimesters of professional placements totalling a minimum of 600 hours. ICMS works closely with its network of industry partners to find a suitable placement that is the best fit for each student's skills, interests and professional goals. Placements could be in a major city, regional area in Australia, or even an international city.
The course uses real-world assessments with no exams. Assessments can be formative (e.g. homework exercises, learning activities, in-class group activities, reflective journals, and assignments completed during the course) or summative (e.g. papers, quizzes, reflective journals, and assignments completed at the end of a subject).
The course has main intakes in February, May, and August, as well as mid-term intakes in March, June, October, and December.
Yes. The Bachelor of Business (Entrepreneurship and Innovation) includes 5 elective subjects that allow you to build a personalised educational experience that reflects your interests and ambitions. ICMS provides recommended entrepreneur career pathway options to help you choose electives suited to your career goals, and the Academic Consulting Office can assist you with subject selection and structuring your course.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
