The Bachelor of Business (Financial Planning) (XBBFP) is a three-year, 100% online degree built specifically for the Australian financial planning industry, giving graduates the educational requirements to practise as a financial planner and a direct pathway into the Financial Advice Association of Australia's (FAAA) CFP® Certification Program.

First-year coursework covers core business theory — economics, accounting, business intelligence and international business — before the Financial Planning specialisation moves into practical, industry-specific skills: personal budgeting, superannuation and retirement planning, investment management, financial risk management, insurance planning, tax planning, and estate planning within the Australian regulatory environment. Students learn Xplan, the financial planning software most widely used in the Australian industry, and practise preparing a client Statement of Advice, plus using research databases such as Morningstar to evaluate financial products against real case studies drawn from major superannuation and investment firms.
