To be eligible for admissions to the Bachelor of Business (Information Systems) applicants are required to hold the following: successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent with a minimum ATAR of 60; or successful completion of an equivalent overseas secondary qualification and attainment of the ATAR equivalent; or satisfactory completion of an accredited Tertiary Preparation Program or a Foundation Year Program offered by an Australian university or other accredited institution that would enable students to gain entry to an Australian university; or satisfactory completion of accredited full-time study at a registered institute of tertiary education at AQF level 5 (Diploma) or above in Australia; or admission to candidature for an undergraduate degree at an Australian university. Assumed Knowledge Students are assumed to have: basic numeracy skills of fundamental arithmetic – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; the ability to reason and to apply simple logical concepts; and the ability to apply, in context, a combination of different discipline-based knowledge and skills English Language Requirements Students applying for the Bachelor of Business (Information Systems) must demonstrate English language proficiency through one of the following approved tests. The minimum requirement is an IELTS Academic overall score of 6.0, with no individual band lower than 5.5. Equivalent scores are accepted from other tests: TOEFL iBT overall score of 67 with minimum scores of 12 in Reading, 14 in Writing, 12 in Listening, and 17 in Speaking; PTE Academic overall score of 47, with no score lower than 42 in Reading, 41 in Writing, 40 in Listening, and 39 in Speaking; Cambridge English C1 Advanced overall score of 169, with no band lower than 162; CELPIP General overall score of 7, with no individual band lower than 6; LanguageCert Academic overall score of 65, with no band lower than 60; Michigan English Test (MET) overall score of 53, with no band lower than 49; and Occupational English Test (OET) overall score of 1210, with minimum scores of 280 in Reading, 260 in Writing and Listening, and 310 in Speaking. Students who do not meet these requirements may be required to complete an ELICOS program, such as an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course, with a recognised provider. Yes, sexual assault is a crime. The institution is bound under the Crimes Act 1900 (NSW) to make a report to the Police in many cases of serious offences, including sexual assault.
