The program covers a range of subjects including globalisation; international trade; regional blocs and markets; free trade agreements; international dimensions of marketing, strategic management and e-business; and the geographical, cultural and institutional factors affecting business decisions and economic development.

UC provides diverse WIL options, including industry case studies, guest speakers, internships, work placements, industry projects, competitions, exhibitions, study tours, virtual experiences and more. Previous International Business students have undertaken internships across a range of sectors, with organisations such as the Australia China Business Council, the US Embassy, Kokonut Pacific, Getaboutable.com and PriceWaterhouseCoopers Canberra.

Yes, you can enjoy the freedom of choice: select the online study mode for self-paced learning and optimal study-work-life balance, or on-campus study mode for face-to-face classes. Students who choose to study online can access virtual WIL opportunities including on-demand guest lectures, industry case studies and industry projects. However, internships and the International Business Study Tour options require either in-person placement hours in a business or on an overseas study tour and are not offered wholly online.

Yes, credit transfer arrangements are available for a number of institutions and qualifications, including the Canberra Institute of Technology Diploma of Government and Diploma of Project Management, Chandigarh University Bachelor of Business Administration, various overseas qualifications equivalent to AQF5, and any Australian Certificate IV (12CP) or Australian Diploma/Advanced Diploma (24CP), among others.
