A Bachelor of Business in International Hotel Management equips you with the skills for a global career in hotel management. The following scholarships are available at BMIHMS at Torrens University Australia: Three Pillars Scholarship, Industry Scholarship, Alumni Scholarship, English Language Scholarship, Alternate Pathway Onshore, and Hospitality Motivational Scholarship. The Three Pillars Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School Hospitality Scholarship offers 10%–50% off for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
To apply for a scholarship, you need to: complete the scholarship application form; provide a 1-page cover letter of at least 500 words covering why you wish to study at BMIHMS, outcomes you hope to achieve, how the qualification will assist your career, your merit and need, personal achievements, relevant work or volunteer experience, and future career aspirations; submit a resume and photo (if applicable); complete the BMIHMS application form; provide certified copies of certificates and transcripts; attach letters of reference from teachers, friends or employers; and submit your application via the StudyLink portal at www.student-torrens.studylink.com.
The eligibility criteria vary depending on the scholarship you are applying for. Generally, recipients must be new BMIHMS at Torrens University Australia students commencing studies and must meet BMIHMS entry requirements. For domestic scholarships, you need to be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or New Zealand citizen, or hold a humanitarian visa. Most scholarships have a rolling deadline per intake, meaning you can apply any time up to an intake date to allow sufficient time to review and process the application.
If offered a scholarship, you agree to carry out additional duties and instructions as required, abide by conditions stipulated by BMIHMS at Torrens University Australia, take up the scholarship in the academic intake for which it is offered, follow the course of study and abide by the school's rules, submit any required progress reports, participate in marketing and promotional activities as required, and act in a manner that will not bring disrepute to yourself or the school.
